The electronic spectra of neutral PaO and PaO2 and their mono- (PaO+, PaO2 +) and dications (PaO2+, PaO2 2+) were studied by performing multiconfigurational quantum chemical calculations at the CASSCF/CASPT2 level of theory taking into account spin–orbit coupling. Including the protactinium 7s, 6d, and 5f orbitals as well as selected orbitals of oxygen in the active space, the vertical excitation energies at the ground-state geometries have been computed up to ca. 36,000 cm?1. The gas-phase electronic spectra at 298 and 3,000 K were evaluated on the basis of the computed oscillator strengths.  相似文献

We have developed a fast ultra HPLC with ion‐trap TOF‐MS method for the analysis of flavonoids in Citrus bergamia juice. With respect to the typical methods for the analysis of these matrices based on conventional HPLC techniques, a tenfold faster separation was attained. The use of a core–shell particle column ensured high resolution within the fast analysis time of only 5 min. Unambiguous determination of flavonoid identity was obtained by the employment of a hybrid ion‐trap TOF mass spectrometer with high mass accuracy (average error 1.69 ppm). The system showed good retention time and peak area repeatability, with maximum RSD% values of 0.36 and 3.86, respectively, as well as good linearity (R2 ≥ 0.99). Our results show that ultra HPLC can be a useful tool for ultra fast qualitative/quantitative analysis of flavonoid compounds in citrus fruit juices.  相似文献

The reactions of 4,5,6,7‐tetrathiocino‐[1,2‐b:3,4‐b′]‐1,3,8,10‐tetrasubstituted‐diimidazolyl‐2,9‐dithiones (R2,R′2‐todit; 1 : R=R′=Et; 2 : R=R′=Ph; 3 : R=Et, R′=Ph) with Br2 exclusively afforded 1:1 and 1:2 “T‐shaped” adducts, as established by FT‐Raman spectroscopy and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction in the case of complex 1? 2 Br2. On the other hand, the reactions of compounds 1 – 3 with molecular I2 provided charge‐transfer (CT) “spoke” adducts, among which the solvated species 3? 2 I2 ? (1?x)I2 ? x CH2Cl2 (x=0.94) and ( 3 )2 ? 7 I2 ? x CH2Cl2, (x=0.66) were structurally characterized. The nature of all of the reaction products was elucidated based on elemental analysis and FT‐Raman spectroscopy and supported by theoretical calculations at the DFT level.  相似文献

In recent years, unconventional metamaterial properties have triggered a revolution of electromagnetic research which has unveiled novel scenarios of wave‐matter interaction. A very small dielectric permittivity is a leading example of such unusual features, since it produces an exotic static‐like regime where the electromagnetic field is spatially slowly‐varying over a physically large region. The so‐called epsilon‐near‐zero metamaterials thus offer an ideal platform where to manipulate the inner details of the “stretched” field. Here we theoretically prove that a standard nonlinearity is able to operate such a manipulation to the point that even a thin slab produces a dramatic nonlinear pulse transformation, if the dielectric permittivity is very small within the field bandwidth. The predicted non‐resonant releasing of full nonlinear coupling produced by the epsilon‐near‐zero condition does not resort to any field enhancement mechanism and opens novel routes to exploiting matter nonlinearity for steering the radiation by means of ultra‐compact structures.

Mixtures of polypyridine FeII and CoII complexes are used as electron mediators in Ru–thienyltpy‐sensitised solar cells (tpy=terpyridine). The use of the metalorganic redox couples allows for improved charge‐collection efficiency with respect to the classical iodide/iodine couple which, when associated to Ru–tpy2 dyes, usually produces poor performance. The improved charge collection is explained by a combination of effective dye regeneration and decreased recombination with the oxidised electrolyte on the basis of data obtained by transient spectroscopy and photoelectrochemical measurements. The efficiency of the regeneration cascade is also critically dependent upon the ability of the CoII complex to intercept FeIII centres, as clearly indicated by chronocoulometry experiments.  相似文献

Designing and developing flexible electronics requires a thorough investigation of the substrates available for the fabrication of devices. Here, we present a practical study on a variety of significant substrates: polyethylene terephthalate (PET), its heat‐stabilized (HS) derivative, HS‐PET, and polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) plastic insulating films; indium tin oxide (ITO)‐coated ITO/PEN and ITO/PET transparent conducting films; rigid ITO/glass and FTO/glass substrates; stainless steel and titanium foils. We put the substrates through a range of tests these actually undergo during device fabrication to determine their optical, mechanical flexibility (under different types of tensile and compressive stress bending with and without a PEDOT:PSS conducting polymer layer), solvent resistance, stability to temperature treatment (conductivity and deformation), and to UV irradiation. We highlight issues and propose solutions to improve substrate response. The results and thresholds extracted reveal limitations and windows of opportunity useful for the designer of flexible optoelectronics in determining manufacturing processes and the final applications under everyday operation. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Moreover a quantitative version in terms of some moduli of smoothness is established. Iron-Phthalocyanine molecules deposited on the Cu(119) vicinal surface form molecular chains along the vicinal surface steps, as deduced by the low-energy electron diffraction (LEED) reconstruction pattern. The work-function lowers at the FePc single-layer completion, due to the formation of an interface dipole. Further FePc deposition induces a different growth morphology, as suggested by the slope discontinuity in the work function variation. Upon depositing potassium onto the FePc thin-film prepared on Cu(119), the K-injected electrons fill up the Fe-d-associated and ligand-π-related orbitals, as observed by means of high-resolution ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy.  相似文献

In this work electronic and optoelectronic properties of InGaN/GaN nanocolumn quantum disk LEDs have been studied with the multiscale simulation tool tiberCAD. Calculations have been performed with an atomistic tight-binding model. Results shows that emission energies have a minor dependence on the nanocolumn dimension while In concentration in the active region is a critical parameter.  相似文献
